I bought this as a christmas present for my wife a couple of years ago.She was ecstatic and has really loved the camera ever since (She loves me too of course).I have not really used, but she told me that everything is very easy to use and work with. Unfortunately, it seems like the price is much higher than when I bought it.Price now, I would suggest spending a little more and get the electronic version. For most photography it will probably be the better choice..

If You thought Chung's review was late, mine is much later, just got this camera off EBAY for $50.00, seller said the batteries only lasted 3-5 mins and included two spare NP 80 batteries, the wide angle lens and adapter and a nice case for $50.00.I found out the "battery problem: was the camera's auto shut-off setting after 3-5 mins.I made it clear that everyone and say the battery last a long time far from it, an extra one flashing warning lights, did not get started after about 60 shots. Took some amazing shot using macro and flash together.Good camera if you can get a package like I did with some cards Smartmedia with too, too expensive to buy alone.

I've found that a lot of people have odd expectations in reviewing this bag. I read a lot of: - not big enough - doesn't hold any extra lenses - shape is not good I don't know if they realize that this is a small bag with a specific purpose of taking just the camera out with a couple of accessories like a filter and maybe a spare battery. I accidentally dropped the camera into a large mud puddle while riding an elephant in SE Asia.Incredibly, after about 5 days of letting it dry and very gently cleaning the exterior with a Q-tip (as I was backpacking I didn't have the tools to actually open the camera) it still worked great.There is a small amount of dirt stuck in the LCD display but there is nothing to see it was abandoned around 12ft. and submerged in jungle muck for about 15 seconds..
